The 2023 high school football regular season has hit the halfway point. There is a bit of shifting in the higher classes after some upsets this week. Here are my rankings heading into Week 5.

Olathe North moves in at #4 after a 54-31 win over Shawnee Mission South. Free State is now #5 with a 41-12 win over Shawnee Mission Northwest. Wichita Northwest drops out of the poll from #3 after a 34-28 loss to Wichita East. Lawrence drops from #4 with a 24-6 loss at Olathe East.

Valley Center moves in at #5 with a 42-14 win at Campus. Hutchinson falls from #5 after a 27-17 loss to Derby.
